Nigel is a graduate of the London School of Theology and has several years of ministry experience in the UK including six years as youth pastor and associate pastor respectively. He also had a secular career as finance manager for the national marketing department of accountants Deloitte. Kathy has many years experience as a carer for the elderly, people with physical and learning disabilities as well as homeless people and desires more than anything to take care of people in need.
Their focus is to encourage and enable the growth and development of indigenous ministries throughout East Africa, including Uganda where they currently live. They believe God has a special purpose for the church in Uganda, to deepen her knowledge of His Word and make her a missionary sending nation.
Over 80% of the East African nations are not urbanized or industrialized but are made up of subsistence agriculture. Nigel has consequently been very involved in rural church planting ministries. The work has included the ministry of short-term mission teams from UK, USA and Australia. Since 2002 he has worked with twelve evangelism teams, one optical team, two medical teams and two seminary students. Nigel has also facilitated various development projects, including church and school building programs, deep water wells, the distribution of bicycles and motorcycles, micro enterprise, pastors support, child sponsorship and orphan childcare and more. Nigel also has a Bible teaching ministry and specializes in Christian leadership development. Nigel is a third generation missionary to Africa, having felt called to Christian leadership and African ministry many years ago as a teenager. He and his family live by faith in God’s provision as they serve Him and Missionary Ventures International. Nigel’s greatest desire is to fulfil the Great Commission – communicating the Word of God through teaching and preaching to make disciples of Jesus Christ and plant churches. His priority is to build strong relationships with indigenous leaders on a spiritual basis, followed by assistance in any practical initiatives God chooses to communicate His great compassion. Your partnership with them in prayer and support is very much appreciated as together we advance the Kingdom of God.

OPSW not only trains people to share the Good News in a very deliberate way, but also trains people to share without fear, without arguments, and without applying pressure. With five training semesters per year since 2002, OPSW has seen over 350 ordinary people from all walks of life become effective, certified soul winners - and 150 people have become certified trainers in the program!
Pastor Robin Cox has been involved in several foreign missions trips in Mexico and Honduras and has assisted in the planting of churches in cities including Campamiento and Guaymaca in Honduras. Pastor Robin Cox led mission teams from Calvary Assembly to Honduras in 2002, 2003 and 2004, resulting in several thousand souls receiving Christ as savior. He also led a team to Ecuador in 2005 - to evangelize the lost and build up the local churches, and strengthen and encourage the local pastors. Robin’s best friend is his wife, Reba. For most of their lives, they lived in Roswell, New Mexico, where their children and grandchildren reside. They have two daughters, Laura 30 and Lisa 23, and four grandchildren Sadie, Sage, Wyatt, and Hunter. Robin has served in the ministry as Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor, Children’s Pastor, Bus Pastor, and Pastor of Evangelism.
The passion of Robin’s heart is to know Jesus with a zealous, passionate love and to minister Christ's love through the power of the Holy Ghost. His love for the Word of God is insatiable and his zeal to win the lost while seeing them discipled in the church through biblical multiplication is contagious.

At age twelve, he was forced onto the streets by his father and new step-mother, with no provision for living or education. He survived on the streets as a criminal. He was arrested and imprisoned numerous times. One such time, he was beaten by the police until he was completely covered in his own blood. Jesus appeared to him and told him that he must repent or his life would soon end. After leaving jail, he found out what it means to repent, and completely surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit called him to preach the word and to pastor a church. But he knew no English - which is very necessary for preaching in Uganda. The Holy Spirit promised that HE would teach Pastor Willy the English he needed - and that promise was kept. Today, Pastor Willy Tumwine is being used mightily by God to lead one of Uganda's most powerful and fastest-growing churches. Pastor Willy equips and mentors his people - preparing them to be sent out to plant new churches. Pastor Willy is also in the process of building an orphanage to take in abandoned children (as he himself once was) to care for their daily needs and to disciple, mentor and equip them in the Word of God and in the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit. Many other indigenous pastors will be working with our mission team under the leadership of Pastor Willy Tumwine. Please pray for him, for his family and all of his 22+ churches. Pastor Willy Tumwine is a wonderful man and mighty in God. |
Prior to moving to the mission field in Asheville, the Webb's served at Calvary Assembly of God in Winter Park, Florida. There, Dan was impacted greatly by Pastor Robin Cox and his "On Purpose Soul Winning" evangelism equipping. Pastor Robin Cox helped Dan do a very wonderful thing - and that was to lead one person to Christ. Then Dan caught the fire of evangelism and is being increasingly consumed by that fire daily. The result has been fruitful obedience to King Jesus - to lay down life itself and forsake all for the preaching of the Gospel and the fulfilment of the Great Commission. Thank you Pastor Robin Cox! You lit my fuse and taught me the value of training and equipping others - to biblically multiply. I whole-heartedly agree with what Pastor Robin Cox says: "It's time for the whole church to take the whole gospel to the whole world, wholly utilizing, with integrity, every means available - conventional and unconventional - to the glory of God!"
Dan has served on short term foreign missions teams in Haiti, Honduras and Uganda, and travelled to Nicaragua in August 2006 and to Uganda in September 2006. Jennifer travelled with Dan to Honduras in 2003 and Uganda in 2004, and went to Pattaya, Thailand in March 2006.
Domestically, Dan has preached and evangelized on church campuses, on the streets, in neighborhoods, in public parks, in the jails, in retail stores, in homes and businesses, while often training and equipping others to share Jesus with others in many of these venues.
Adding further fuel to the fire, Dan has also been very much impacted by Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke - by meeting him and receiving personal prayer and impartation from him, and by hearing him speak live, and in person, and by his books and videos. Pastor Bonnke is an extremely passionate lover of Jesus and a fiery, passionately HOT preacher of the Gospel. Pastor Bonnke has personally led more individuals to Christ than any person who has ever lived - with over 40 million documented first-time decisions for Christ only since the year 2000 - but has been winning souls for over 30 years. Thank you, Pastor Bonnke! You have been an inspiration, an encouragement and an example to me and many, many others worldwide.
