CAVEAT:  "SALVATIONS":  It is impossible to actually count "salvations", further it is impossible to know for sure if an individual well known to you is actually "saved".  During an "invitation" or an "altar call", a person can stand or raise their hand or come forward, indicating that he or she has just prayed to receive Jesus Christ as his or her personal LORD and SAVIOR - but it is impossible for anyone to know if this person sincerely repented, surrendered, believed or confessed, therefore it is impossible to know if this person is "saved" now.  However, that is our hope.   In these situations, some people will raise their hand or come forward, having absolutely no idea what they are doing.  Also, in the case where the gospel is being preached in crusades every day at the same location, it is possible for some individuals to indicate "first time salvation" on more than one occasion, thereby inflating our numbers.

We want very much to have some idea of the order of magnitude the preaching of the gospel is having on a community, and the quickest, most direct way is by counting the number of individuals who are indicating they have prayed for the first time to receive Jesus Christ as their personal LORD and SAVIOR.  By our most sincerely accurate and conservative counting on this mission trip, we have counted 532 who have indicated they have prayed for the first time to receive Jesus Christ as their personal LORD and SAVIOR.    This is a straight count with no adjustments for the possibility that some of these may not have been sincere or mentally engaged in what they are doing.  Please feel free to draw your own conclusions about these numbers.

For the purpose of establishing a base of true believers and planting a new church into an area dominated by witchcraft and dead "Christian-based" religions, we believe these numbers represent an overall "mission accomplished".  It is now up to the new local pastor to follow up with these individuals and disciple them.
