Vision: To glorify God, fulfill the “Great Commission” given by the risen Lord Jesus Christ: to go into all nations, preaching the good news and making disciples.

Mission: Travel to Mashonga, Uganda, preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many as possible, invite as many as possible to repent and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, and connect these new believers with a new church being planted there. Forms of ministry included:

Crusades – praise and worship with singing and dancing, personal testimonies, evangelistic exhortations, evangelistic preaching, invitations/altar calls and prayer.

Seminars – Teaching by several different instructors interspersed with praise and worship and prayer.

Personal Evangelism – Walking the streets with interpreters, speaking with one, two or several individuals at once, asking questions and explaining the good news of Jesus Christ and what it means to “repent”, inviting individuals to repent and surrender their lives to Jesus Christ, and inviting them to join the new fellowship of believers – Holy Spirit Fire Church of Mashonga.

Worship Service – One “First Ever” church-planting worship service for the new “Holy Spirit Fire Church of Mashonga” – included formal introduction of the new pastor, praise and worship, teaching, and ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Missionary Ventures:
Missionary Ventures is an international interdenominational Christian missionary organization which specializes in going deep into places most organizations do not go, operating in over 30 countries to support indigenous churches. This mission trip was organized and led by Missionary Ventures.

Trip Dates:
This was a two week trip, starting April 28, 2004 through May 11, 2004. Actual ministry in the Mashonga area took place May 3, 2004 through May 9, 2004. Ministry also took place in Mbarara, Uganda on Sunday, May 2, 2004.
