Many scooters fill the streets.  Traffic can get really crazy at times. Remember to look for traffic coming from the opposite direction as you cross.  Pedestrians do NOT have the right of way.

As in many other countries, it is polite to remove your shoes before entering.

We were struck by the vast number of 7-11's we saw.

Some signs lost a little in the translation.  We saw one sign that said, "Beware of pedestrians".

Elephants are still used in some areas.  We saw one being hauled in a truck on the highway between Bangkok and Pattaya.
