So yeah the open mike went umm.. well.. it actually wasn’t an open
mike.. it was a jam session so all the musicians played at once. But I
told one of the guys that I did more.. open mike stuff so he was like..
oh you write songs? So I was like yeah.. so in the middle of the jam
session he called me over and I played 3 of my songs about Jesus.. it
was cool cause they had just done this like 10 min. song about a god...
it was restaurant though so people were being kind of loud.. but this
one guy was trying so hard to hear the words that he got up and told
everyone to be quiet.. and the whole restaurant listened! its hard to
explain but if you were there.. or if you were me you would have been
like... whoaa.. lol yeah. so that was cool.. and after I talked to this
lady who really liked it.. we talked for a while.. she works at a cafe
in town and said she wants to come see me some time this week.. we'll
see what happens.. I also got some offers to play at other places..
tonight is one of them but I'm so sick.. there’s no way. but there’s
something else on Monday.. but I'm gonna try and put on my own sometime
before I leave.. we'll see what happens!
Umm yeah I've been really heavy the last couple of days but I did a lot
of binding demons and all that in Jesus name for a long time yesterday
and I can feel a difference so strongly today! We also had a really
great worship time last night.. I think I’m starting to understand so
much more what it means to be a worship leader! This is awesome!
and well.. I'm really sick of being sick...
Thank you SO much everyone who wrote me messages or wrote me back this
week! I feel so encouraged! I miss you all!!!! GAH I'm sick of that
phrase!
So I don't feel too good but I think I'm gonna try to go do a little
shopping and head back to the base.. rickshaws are.. wow. lol The
traffic and drivers in India are INSANE!!! They don't drive on one side
of the road or the other.. they just ride down the middle and get out of
the way of each other! Its crazy!
They also have milk in bags, Tim!
so yeah
I'll hopefully get to write again on Wednesday or Monday..
