BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF TRIP

Trip dates: August 27 - September 6, 2004.

Leadership: Pastor Robin Cox, Pastor of Evangelism, Calvary Assembly of God, Orlando Florida

Missionaries: Pastors Steve and Tece Entsminger, Assemblies of God Missionaries to the Children of Honduras

Orlando Team Members: Pastor Robin Cox, Grace English, John Lea, Nancy Barkus, Albert Riviello, Linda Tatanus, Caryn Gay, Marisol Ordoñez and Dan Webb

Tegucigalpa Team Members: Steve Entsminger, Francklin Sierra and Marvin Menjivar

Guaimaca Team Members: Castillo Del Rey Youth Leader Dulce Diaz, along with many wonderful youth including: Jorge Vasquez, Ingrid Cruz, Nancy Gonzales, Fany Gonzales, Marlen Corrales, Leydi Gonzales, Karen Viera, Karen Giron, Diana, Karla Banegas, Karen Trejo, Maria Mejia, Carolina Argueta, Sobeina Ponce, Geovani Andino, Emerson Alonzo, Francisco Mejia, Juan Barahona, Juan Andino, Fania Ramos, Mario Nuñez, Ibania Gonzalez, Geovany Moradel.

We flew to Tegucigalpa and traveled to our base of operations in Guaimaca.  Each day we traveled from Guaimaca to a different city and did several crusades.  We returned to Tegucigalpa for a day of shopping and relaxation and then we to fly home.  However, Hurricane Frances delayed our return home and we stayed in Tegucigalpa two more days - Saturday and Sunday.  On Sunday we attended the Entsminger's inner-city church in Tegucigalpa for morning services and returned that evening for a powerful time in the Holy Spirit.

OUR MISSION AND MOTIVATION

Present the wonderful hope-filled "Good News" - The Gospel of Jesus Christ - and give as many people as possible the opportunity to hear the good news and to decide by their own free will to accept the free gift of eternal life that is only available by faith through the shed blood of Jesus Christ as atonement for sin.  Our motivation is LOVE, compassion, and obedience to Jesus Christ and to glorify God.
