"The Barracks": Baptist Hospital, Guaimaca, Honduras This is the building the Orlando team slept in. It was designed to house visiting teams of medical people to work in the hospital. This place was a wonderful blessing with many of the conveniences of home in Orlando - such as clean, drinkable water, hot and cold showers, flush toilets, washers and dryers for laundry, a fully-equipped kitchen, ice makers and even free use of a computer to access the Internet via satellite. The rear section of the building was divided into two parts - a large bedroom filled with bunk beds plus shower/bathroom areas - one area for men and one for women.

Baptist Hospital, Guaimaca, Honduras The building on the right is the actual hospital building. People come from all parts of the country for treatment here. Every doctor and worker here is trained to always tell each patient about Jesus Christ and how to be saved. Doctors routinely pray with the patients here. This view is from the front of the barracks, looking out toward the main highway that connects Guaimaca to Campamento and Tegucigalpa. Several other buildings were also under construction.

Sandy and Jo Ann - two wonderful servants of the Lord Jesus Christ. The LORD gave Sandy and Joanne the vision to build this hospital. They are the top leadership of the establishment. They were extremely gracious and hospitable during our stay and encouraged us to come back and stay again. Jo Ann cooked for the entire team several times. Sandy and Jo Ann are such a blessing!
